Behind-the-Scenes: Life at Correnti, Inside and Out

Summer has been flying by, and our team has been busy both inside and outside the office! From exciting client projects to community involvement (and a little fun in between), we thought it would be a great time to pause and share a quick behind-the-scenes look at what we’ve been up to.

We asked our content team to answer a few lighthearted questions—from one word that sums up their summer so far, to what they’re most excited for this fall. Here’s a peek at what they had to say!

Question 1: What's One Word That Sums Up Your Summer So Far–And Why?

Michele: This summer, I've really come to appreciate authenticity—something that feels rare with all the digital noise and constantly shifting trends around us. There's something so refreshing about people who just show up as themselves, no pretense required. It got me thinking about two things: reconnecting with myself and choosing to spend time with people who aren't afraid to be genuine. What I've really treasured is how authentic relationships work both ways. The people in my inner circle don't just tolerate my quirks—they celebrate them. My silliness, passion, and energy aren't things they think I should dial down; they're what make me, me. In a world that's always trying to squeeze us into neat little boxes, I'm grateful to be surrounded by people who see our differences as gifts, not problems to solve.

Alli: If I had to choose one word to sum up my summer, it would be renewed. After welcoming my first baby last November, this summer has been about finding my rhythm again, both personally and professionally. I finally feel like I’m getting my feet back under me, balancing the demands of motherhood with the excitement of growing professionally. It’s been a season of fresh energy, new perspective, and a reminder of why I love the work I do and the life I have.

Gabriella: New. This summer hasn't been the most exciting of my life, but it has been one of my favorites because of the effort I've put into establishing new, healthy routines and habits, like going to the gym several times a week, getting enough sleep at night, and spending meaningful time with friends and family. I was raised to think of others first, and while I still hold that to be a core value, I'm much better equipped to serve those around me when I'm doing well, too. I'm proud of the work I've done to become a better version of myself this summer. I've also made some new friendships this summer, which has also been great!

Jillian: One word that sums up my summer is energizing. This summer has been full of exciting firsts and bursts of energy. I started my new role here at Correnti, diving into exciting projects and connecting with an amazing team. I also got to see my favorite band live, and was even handed a guitar pick (while sobbing in the front row), which is a moment I’ll never forget. I’ve stayed really active this summer, and had the chance to take a helicopter ride while volunteering at a summer camp. All of these experiences have made my summer feel truly inspiring and full of energy!

Question 2: What Client Project Are You Most Enjoying Right Now?

Michele: For me, it's less about an individual project and more about taking on the role of CEO. Our team sincerely amazes me. We have grown so much in the last few years, in number and skills. I know our clients are in good hands, which means I have more time to focus on running the business. I really enjoy working on what is best not only for our clients, but our team and where we are heading.

Alli: I’ve really been enjoying working with our social media clients. Over the past three to six months, we’ve had the opportunity to bring on a few new clients and increase scope with a few of our existing clients, which has been exciting and creatively energizing. I love helping them tell their unique stories, find their voices online, and see the results. Every client brings a fresh challenge and perspective, and it’s rewarding to collaborate with them to elevate their brands and connect with their audiences in meaningful ways.

Gabriella: It's not so much a project, but many of our clients have recently had many positive things to say about the work we're doing and the doors opening for them because their content resonates with the right audience. When my clients are doing well, it's the best feeling as a content manager!

Jillian: I have been loving tapping into my graphic design background with a variety of branding clients we’re currently working with. It’s exciting to bring creativity across industries, from law firms and financial advisors to fitness and wellness studios. Collaborating with clients to help them bring their creative visions to life has been a really cool experience.

Question 3: What’s Something You’re Doing For Others or Your Community Right Now?

Michele: Volunteering on the Prescott Park Arts Festival board, which puts on accessible events all summer long in Portsmouth, NH. I am loving being a part of nonprofit that not only helps support children, families, and people who love the arts, but has a significant positive economic impact on a community I adore.

Alli: This summer, I’ve gotten more involved in my local community by joining our neighborhood HOA as Vice President. My husband, son, and I recently moved to this neighborhood at the start of the year, and I’m really looking forward to connecting further with neighbors, learning more about what’s important to our community, and finding additional ways to contribute in meaningful ways. It’s exciting to think about being more plugged in, helping shape positive changes, and supporting the neighborhood where we now call home.

Gabriella: This summer, I made an effort to set aside Saturday mornings for intentional quality time with my son as often as possible. I used to see Saturday mornings as the time to run all my errands, but after hearing "I like staying home" come out of my son's mouth more than once, my perspective on this time shifted.

He didn't want to spend all morning in the car, running around town, or in a shopping cart at the grocery store. He wanted to be home. Especially after spending every weekday at summer camp, I wanted to honor his wish not to have to get up and go every day of the week. So, we used this time to make a fun breakfast and play board games, like Chutes and Ladders and Candy Land.

I think many working parents can relate to wanting more time with their kids beyond the daily routine, and I'm grateful that we were able to make these special Saturday mornings a part of our summer. I'm looking forward to many more intentional mornings together this fall.

Jillian: This summer, I spent a week volunteering at Malta Camp USA, a summer camp for adults with disabilities, which was an incredibly enriching experience. Malta Camp offers independence, joy, and friendship to adults who have aged out of social services, and is the only program of its kind in the US to offer its services free of charge. I now carry this cause into the rest of my year, planning fundraising events, reunions, and maintaining lasting new friendships. It’s inspiring to be a part of a community like this.

Question 4: What Are You Most Looking Forward to This Fall?

Michele: Aside from my partner returning from his four and a half month journey backpacking the Continental Divide Trail (CDT) from the New Mexico-Mexico border to the Montana-Canada border (no big deal), I am looking forward to kicking off quite a few branding projects this fall. We have some really interesting businesses launching in 2026 that I cannot wait to share more about! But for now, shhh, it's a secret.

Alli: This fall, I’m looking forward to so many exciting milestones! September brings my birthday, followed by my son’s first Halloween and then his first birthday in November—it’s such a special season for our family. On the professional side, I’m excited to continue building on the momentum we created over the summer with Correnti, taking on new projects and seeing our clients’ brands come to life.

Gabriella: Keeping up the positive momentum from this summer!

Jillian: This fall, I’m excited to continue growing in my role at Correnti and see ideas come to life as real, tangible results. I’ve also missed a huge chunk of New England falls over the past few years, so I can’t wait for the leaves to change and enjoy some crisp air.

Closing Thoughts

As summer winds down, we’re grateful for the projects that inspire us, the communities we’re part of, and the little moments of joy that make the season memorable. Sharing these updates is our way of giving you a peek into the people behind the content, and we can’t wait to bring this same energy and creativity into the fall. Stay tuned for what’s next at Correnti!
